Can I book an act on line?
Yes you certainly can. Just fill out your name, email address and some details of the function, e.g. Date, Time, Location, Theme, Type of entertainer, How long you would want the entertainers to perform for, Approximate budget and then email or fax it to us and we'll get back to as soon as possible.

How many entertainment acts do I have to choose from?
We have in excess of 200 acts and performers. All of our performers are screened for their professionalism, talent and reliability.

We can cater our entertainment according to specific needs and budget

How far ahead do we have to book the entertainers?
We recommend at least one month before an event. This gives you time to make the right choices on the entertainment. Sometimes this isn't possible to do that but we still try our best to give you what you want.

So can I still book entertainers on the day or under a week?
Yes you still can. The only thing is your options may be limited and the entertainer you want may be unavailable.

Do you need a deposit?
Yes. All our entertainers are confirmed by a 50% deposit at least 14 days out from your function.
This can be made by cheque or direct credited into Oyster Entertainment's bank account

Do you supply the stage and lighting for a function?
Yes we can. We have all sorts of packages available. We also have some of our entertainers with their own lighting

Do you supply the sound equipment for a function?
Yes we can. A lot of our groups also have their own equipment

Do you handle event management and supply catering?
Yes we can but prefer to work along side Top Event Management Companies and Hotels. e.g. Sharpe Events, Event Makers, Ktisma Communications, Domain Productions, and Mentz Marketing Events. We are entertainment specialists.

Do your entertainers travel?
Yes they do. A lot of our entertainers travel up and down the country to perform, while others work on Cruise Ships, Hotels and Resorts internationally regularly. They can be contracted for three to six months at a time. There are also one off shows where our entertainers may travel away for the weekend.

Have any of your entertainers released CDs?
Yes many of them have and you can purchase them from this website. You can listen to up to three sound bites on any one entertainer and if you like what you hear you can order right here. There are also other products along with corporate gifts too.
